Data privacy is of high importance for Sandberg and we want to be open and transparent with our processing of your personal data. We therefore have a policy setting out how your personal data will be processed and protected.

Where do we store your data?

The data that we collect from you is stored within the European Union (“EU”).

Personal information collected on our sites and services may be stored and processed in Denmark. We may also in accordance with the applicable laws store and process that information in other EU countries in which we, our affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities. Sandberg keep your personal information confidential. We will not sell, rent or lease your personal information to others.     • you have an ongoing matter with Customer Service
    • you have an open order which has not yet been shipped or partially shipped
    • you have an unsettled debt with Sandberg, regardless of the payment method
    • if you have made any purchase, we will keep your personal data in connection to your transaction for book-keeping purposes
    • if you are suspected or have misused our services within the last four years

Children’s Privacy

We may also record the IP address you use to connect to the Internet. An IP address is a unique identifier that devices use to identify and communicate with each other on the Internet.

Sign in/Sign up with Facebook or Google+
We allow you to sign up and log in using your Facebook or Google+ account. If you sign up using Facebook/Google+, this social media will ask your permission to share certain information from your social account with Sandberg. This may include your first name, last name, email address in order for us to verify your identity, general location, a link to your Facebook/Google+ profile and profile picture.

We will keep your personal data if there are any legal requirements and if there is an open dispute.

Visitors to our websites

When someone visits this website we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We collect this information in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. We will not associate any data gathered from this site with any personally identifying information from any source. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. Facebook Remarketing, Facebook Pixel, and Custom Audiences

For our online business, on the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e., interest in the analysis, optimization, and economical operation of our online business), we use “Facebook Pixel” of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”). Via Facebook Pixel, Facebook can determine the visitors to our website as a target group for the display of ads, the so-called “Facebook Ads”. Accordingly, we use Facebook Pixel to present the Facebook Ads operated by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our Internet offerings (so-called “Custom Audiences”). This means that, via Facebook Pixel, we would like to ensure that our Facebook Ads are aligned with the potential interest of users and are not perceived as being irritating. Via Facebook Pixels, we can also gauge the effectiveness of the Facebook advertisements for statistical and marketing research purposes by learning whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook advertisement.

The Facebook Pixel is incorporated by Facebook immediately upon one of our websites being viewed and can store a cookie, i.e. a small file, on your device. If you subsequently log in to Facebook or visit the page when already logged in to Facebook, your visit to our Online Service is recorded within your profile. The data collected on you is anonymous for Us and We are therefore unable to draw conclusions concerning the Users’ identities.
